Sweetness

This picture is a little fuzy, but I couldn't resist.  Those first smiles are hard to get captured.  Almost 3 weeks old.  This little girl has melted our hearts.  She only has been on this earth a short time, but feels like she has been with us forever.  I may not know what sleep is anymore, but sister you are worth it.

1st Grade

I am not sure how we got here so fast.  I thought kindergarten was rough. 1st grade was even tougher.  Cooper wanted to ride the bus this year, so we are trying it out.  It picks up right in front of our house.  Not having to get four people out of the house by 8:15 in the morning makes it kind of worth it.  Cooper keep saying the week before he wasn't ready and didn't want summer to be over, but at back to school night he said it was good to be back.  Carson sure misses him a lot, having Cooper gone all day.  All day school is hard on mom also.  I was trying to fight back the tears until the bus came, but once I got in the house I couldn't hold back anymore. To make things harder Carson woke up and went through the house yelling for Cooper.  We are two days in and he still asks every morning were Cooper is. We love you Cooper and are so proud of you.  You make a very handsome first grader and please stop growing up so fast.

Makenna Marie

Our little miss Makenna arrived on Friday August 3rd.  She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Everything went perfect and we even were able to leave to hospital the next day.  Cooper and Carson are doing great with her.  She is so beautiful and such a blessing to our family. We love you so much Makenna, thanks for choosing us!!
