Not sure where these last eight years have gone, but they sure went fast. Cooper was baptized on March 1st and it was an amazing day. One that won't be forgotten and thanks to the rain that morning it helped make it even more memorable. Cooper has been so excited for this day and has done his part to get ready. When Jason and I started teaching him the required lessons for baptism a while ago we asked him if he believed the Book of Mormon to be true. He said yes and we asked why. Cooper's answer was because we say it is and we are his parents and don't lie to him. It took Jason and I a minute to recover from that answer and it hit me pretty hard. We are so blessed to be given these children to raise and teach and they are so dependent on us in so many ways. We learned that even though we think he might not be listening, he really is and is taking it all in. We love you Cooper and are so proud of your decision to be baptized. We are excited to watch you grow and develop a testimony of your own. Thank you for your example to all of us. You have such and loving heart and have a special gift of saying very thoughtful prayers. You are great brother and a wonderful son, thanks for always being you. Also thank you to Jason for being a worthy priesthood holder and being able to bless our children....he said that this was his first English baptism and even after being home from his mission for many years, he still was wanting to say it in Spanish and had to really think about saying it in English. Just a good memory for us to remember. I love my family!
