Bring on Christmas

A week ago we went to the mall to welcome Santa. Cooper and Oaklee road the train together and had their picture taken with Rudolph. I kind of am a mean mom now that Cooper is aware Christmas is close, because I often find myself saying Santa is watching, are you being good? If only this would work year round. Really though this is such a fun time of year, it is the best to see kids eyes light up with all the happenings of the season.

Thanksgiving

This thanksgiving was great. We spent most the day with Jason's family. I didn't take any pictures of the actual day, but we have pictures of Cooper and his Thanksgiving feast at school. They are too cute, they got to make their own pilgrim costumes for the feast and helped prepare the food. He loves his school and I am so happy he is having such great experiences. As a family we also made a thankful turkey, just a few of things we are thankful for are eternal families, a warm home, friends, and Jesus Christ.

Having Fun !!!

The other night the boys decided to play toys and this is what happened. Carson needed a place to sit, so Cooper had a free lap. I am so glad that with the age difference these two can play well and are great friends. I love them both so much.

You mean the world to me and I am so lucky to wake up with you every morning, thank you for asking me to marry you. Love, me.

Random Pictures

Jason's brother-in-law was taking pictures at our family dinner on Sunday. Thanks Blake for sharing.

Pumpkin Walk

Logan has this tradition every year. The pumpkin walk is amazing, every thing is made out of pumpkin's. Cooper's class did a display this year, so the class took a field trip to see it. It makes me a little sad that this is our third Halloween in Logan and haven't been before. It was awesome and the boys loved looking at all the different displays, people are so creative. Here are some pictures of our favorites. I took way to many pictures to post them all.

First Day of Preschool

I can't believe I am writing this post. Cooper went to preschool last week. He was so excited and could hardly wait. Everyday he would ask how many more days until preschool. He is doing so well, the teachers already love him. The first day we went to pick him up and one of his teachers said he was enchanting. Jason and I are still trying to decide what that means exacatly, but we think it is good. Also the teachers say he is such an example to the other kids, they want all the kids to watch and act like Cooper. He is quite when he needs to be and talks when appropriate. I was a little worried, because at home he is crazy, super crazy. I had a little anxiety after dropping him off the first day. I am not sure I want him old enough to go to school yet and this is just the beginning of school. Cooper we are so proud of you and love you so much, thank you for letting us be your parents and enjoy you every day. You always make us smile and have something new to say. And your jokes are the best. As you can see, he was super into smiling.

Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake with Jason's family the last week of August. We had some amazing weather. Usually Bear Lake is cold or windy, most the time both. But Jason was able to water ski in the middle of the day and that rarely happens there. Carson wasn't to sure of the water and was not thrilled with the sand, but he warmed up after a few days. Cooper loved playing on the beach and rode the tube by himself. Grandpa did submarine him, so he know says riding the tube was the worst day of his life. Oh how simple things are when we are little. He popped right back up and we told him he was ok and his life jackets wouldn't let him drown. Needless to say, he never wants to ride the tube again. It was pretty traumatic, funny boy. We had a good time and can't wait until next summer to go back to the beach. We love bear lake.

Such a Little Helper

Wish helping with chores around the house will always stay this fun!

Please, Just One Bite

Now that Carson is mobile, anything is free game. Whenever Cooper is on the floor eating his cereal Carson is determined to get a bite. He will sit there and grunt at you until you give in and give him a bite or he'll start reaching in until he helps himself. Funny boy!!! And good job Cooper for being so patient with brother.

The Fishing Pair

Good ole lighting McQueen fishing pole....my handsome fellas.

Camping

Every year we go camping with my family. This year was an experience with two babies under the age of one, Carson and Ashlee's Ethen. The boys did a little fishing at the pond in the camp ground, but didn't have a whole lot of luck. So grandpa decided we needed to go the fish farm when we got home, best idea ever, guaranteed success. The kids loved it. We had Carson and Ethen in the double stroller a few times and everyone thought they were twins. People would walk up and start saying how cute and before they could even get the word twins out, I said thanks, they are cousins. I don't think they look anything alike...but who knows.

Cooper was telling us how big of a fish he was going to catch. They feed the fish in the pond every night and Cooper did get a few bites, but nothing....he still was in good spirits for how long he tired.

Yeah...a fish, finally thanks to the fish farm! He wouldn't even watch Jason touch a fish last year, let alone himself and this year he was all about it. The fish even tried jumping out of the bucket and it didn't scare him. Oh how time changes things....like giving four year olds no fear.

The cutest boys ever, I still can't believe how light Carson's hair is going..Crazy.

The New Bike

Actually it really isn't new, Cooper got the bike for Christmas, but until now hasn't really been able to ride. Yeah for summer and warm weather. He was excited to get a big bike with two wheels and he does great. Carson watched from the grass and did stunts with dad while Cooper did his thing. It is so nice to finally be outside.

Labor Day Fun

We went to Park City for Labor Day with my family. Did a little shopping, went to lunch, and tried the Alpine Slide. Jason had never been before so he took Cooper. Carson and I hung out at the bottom waiting to take pictures. I didn't get very close when they where coming down, but hopefully you can tell it was them. Jason, Cooper, my Dad, and Oaklee took the first trip up then Kynde and Kariel went. They weren't excited I took their picture too. We had a great time and it always so fun to be with family. Cooper wanted to go again as soon has he was got off, because he wanted to do it faster.
